Newly elected NFTY Regional Officers take this advanced course in NFTY Leadership focusing on the skills and networking needed to succeed for the following NFTY year. Time is spent with the NFTY North American Officers, NFTY Staff, other regional board officers and visiting Reform Movement leaders. This course as a great opportunity for you to prepare for the year ahead!

The Regional Board Leadership Major at Kutz is an intensive curriculum that covers a variety of topics that are important to you as a NFTY Regional Board member.  While the curriculum changes slightly every year, below are some topics that have been covered in the past:

Building Consensus within Community

Program writing

Being a leader/Role Model

Gender Specific Programming

Networking

Teamwork

Modern Applications of Jewish Philosophy

Generational Leadership

• Mark Pelavin, Associate Director of the Religious Action Center

• Of the past five North American NFTY Boards, seventeen board members have participated in the Kutz Regional Board Leadership Major.
   
• Participants in the NFTY Regional Board Leadership Major plan and execute a program and T'fillah experience for all of Camp.
