2013 Program Dates:
Sunday, June 23rd - Friday, July 19th
Eligibility: Participants must be entering 10th - 12th grades in high school.
*Applications for entering 9th graders will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
There is a $300 Deposit due with the application.
A $300 fee will be added to non-URJ applications.
There is a $80 Payment Plan fee.
Canadians will be charged at par in US Funds. After the $300 deposit in US funds has been received, the balance will be billed on April 15 at par to be paid in US funds.
Registration and Payment Due
Applicants should apply or have spaces reserved by April 30, 2013. After April 30, applications will be accepted upon a space-available basis. Final payments are due May 15, 2013, or upon acceptance thereafter. Please make all checks payable to “URJ Kutz Camp.”
Acceptance is assured only when a completed online application and $300 USD deposit have been received. Non-URJ applicants will be assessed a $300 fee added to final registration costs. The URJ Kutz Camp does not discriminate on the grounds of race, color or national origin.
There is a $100 USD non-refundable registration fee. Full refunds, less $100, will be made up to April 30, 2013. Any refunds between May 1, 2013 and the start of the session are at the discretion of the Camp Director. No refunds will be made once the session has begun.
Payment Schedule Options
NFTY and the URJ are dedicated to helping our participants and their families afford our leadership programs, thus the payment options listed below. All participants are also urged to apply for scholarship assistance from their local congregation, local Jewish Federation or other sources of scholarship dollars.
At the time of registration, a $300 USD deposit is required. On May 15, 2013 your credit card will be charged the outstanding balance on your account. You are welcome to pay all or part of your camp fee prior to that date. There is no fee or penalty associated with making multiple payments, feel free to make as many payments as often as needed.
Four Payments - $300 USD deposit along with application, followed by 3 payments in USD that cover the remainder of tuition and an $80 service charge:

Payments may be made via credit card by accessing your online account at (website) or via check by mailing to: URJ Kutz Camp, 46 Bowen Road, Warwick, NY 10990 (payable to URJ Kutz Camp; please note participant’s name with any payments by check).
Work/Study Scholarship Applicants
Work/Study Scholarships are allocated based on a matching contribution from your URJ congregation. Applications will be evaluated on a financial need basis only. In order to be considered, you must be registered for the Kutz session. Applications and other scholarship information can be found online here.
It is mutually understood that the URJ Kutz Camp accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any participant’s property while at camp or in transit. Personal effects insurance may be purchased through TravMark. More information about purchasing this insurance will be available upon receipt of your application.
Participants may be driven to camp by their parents or guardians. We also provide direct charted bus service to the URJ Kutz Camp from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and back. If you will be flying to camp, you must follow the travel parameters that are outlined for you. If your travel falls outside of these travel parameters, you will be responsible for travel to URJ Kutz Camp or to meet the bus for travel to camp. These guidelines will be provided upon receipt of your application.
